Sara Evans
Sara Evans had only one ambition in her life: to be a country singer and to write songs. Evans said to John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me on this earth so that I could sing." "It's the thing I'm passionate about and do, more than anything else and I'm determined to achieve it happen." Evans wanted to achieve success by re-introducing the classic country songs made famous by Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. and Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans regarded as her biggest influencers. Evans born in 1970, was able to make her first mark during the late 90s, in which many young country music performers turned to contemporary pop tunes. This is exemplified through her debut album in 1997, True Lies. True Lies was not a major success, despite it being highly praised by critics and receiving a 1998 Academy of Country Music nomination for the top female vocalist. Evans was persuaded to change her music repertoire to No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. This gave her the public recognition she'd wanted for a long time. Sara Evans was a born in Columbia Missouri on February 5, 1971. Sara Evans spent her early years with six of her siblings.
